Programs overview:

The focus in all Mini Pro Programs is about making it as much fun as possible during the tennis lessons. Game based approach is used. Each lesson consists of tennis and fitness training. Participation in these programs will help determine the child’s preferences and abilities to play tennis recreationally or competitively. 

This program is created for kids:

Mini Pro #1:

Age: 4-7 years old, court size: Half court, Ball: Red and Orange
Tournaments: VTA, OTA Future Stars
Duration: 1.5 hours from 1-2 times per week
Time: 4:30pm-6 pm, 6pm-7:30 pm (Monday-Friday)

Cost of Program:

1 time per week-$230.00/Monthly
2 times per week-$365.00/Monthly

General Objectives:

  • Instill a love for sport and being physically active
  • Introduce hand-eye co-ordination
  • Introduce, Prioritize and promote a variety of fundamental movement skills
  • Introduce fundament movement skills (walking, running, jumping, wheeling, catching, and throwing)
  • Introduce fundamental motor skills (agility, balance, co-ordination, and reaction speed)

Mini Pro #2:

Age: 5-8 years old, Court size: 1/2court and 3/4court,
Balls: Red, Orange, Green
Tournaments: VTA, OTA Future Stars
Duration: 1.5 hours from 1-3 times per week
Time: 4:30pm-6 pm, 6pm-7:30 pm (Monday-Friday)

2 times per week-$365.00/Monthly
3 times per week-$547.00/Monthly

General Objectives:

  • Further develop fundamental motor skills
  • develop basic tennis skills (technical, tactical)
  • Introduce the rules of the game of tennis, tennis ethics, decision making
  • Acquire psychological skills (positive attitude, commitment and effort, emotional control, ability to focus)
  • Further develop and consolidate all fundamental tennis competencies (technical, tactical) in match play

Mini Pro #3Pre-competitive”:

Age: 6-10 years old, Court size: Full Court, Ball: Green

Tournaments: VTA, OTA Future Stars, Rogers Rookie, Transition Tour
Duration: 2 hours from 2-4 times per week
Time: 5:30pm-7:30pm (Monday-Friday)

Cost of the Program:
2 times per week-$542.00/Monthly
3 times per week-$813.00/Monthly

General Objectives:

  • Consolidate learned skills from practiced and apply in competitive situations
  • Continue to develop and refine technical skills in practice and match play
  • Use the sport sciences in the areas of physical preparation and psychological routines to produce ideal performance state
  • Develop decision making skills to practice and compete effectively
  • Introduce the concept of recovery
